Lake Manyara National Park is worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water, forest, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and algae hot springs offer wonderful ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible number of birds. The park is well known for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash and flamingos. Also the park contains other animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, cape buffalos, hippopotamus, leopards, waterbuck and warthog.
